Upon earning his juris doctor degree from Duquesne University, Mr. Elliott served as a judicial law clerk for The Honorable Peter O. Steege, Court of Common Pleas of Beaver County, Pennsylvania 1997-1998. Thereafter, he worked for regional litigation law firms. In fact, he handled complex injury and commercial litigation cases in state and federal court.  He started his own firm in 2008 until the present time.  There, he focuses primarily on helping injured people get the recovery their deserve for dog bite and attack related injuries.

Trial Tested

Mr. Elliott has successfully litigated cases to trial by a jury of 12 throughout Western Pennsylvania. He also handled complex commercial litigation.  He represented Bernard Ebbers in two civil law suits following the Worldcom collapse. Mr. Elliott's areas of practice include: insurance defense, plaintiff personal injury litigation, workers compensation. He also helps modest means clients through the Allegheny County Bar Association referral program. Mr. Elliott lives in Pittsburgh.

Duquesne Law school regularly invites Mr. Elliott to speak to law students about how trials are conducted in state and federal court.  He often steers the discussion toward the best ways to maintain a solid work-life balance.  And, the important of preparation to be effective, without being petty.
